Instructions: Your presentation to the City Council was a success and they have hired you for a follow-up presentation. The areas they would like you to address this time include governance structure, ethics, and financial management.

The members of the City Council are not familiar with the different governance structures within Minor League Baseball. Additionally, not all City Council members are not convinced owning a Single A Minor League Baseball team in the Carolina League would be in the best interest of the city of Charles Town. They have also expressed concerns based on negative news across the country with other minor league baseball teams and stadiums. The City Council members only want to own a team if it can enhance the reputation of Charles Town and can boast a positive public and community relations program. The City of Charles Town wants a baseball stadium and organization the community will be proud of. Additionally, there are financial concerns about the financial implications associated with owning a team.
